Supporting ISO 9001 Quality Management System with Documentation and Audits

Background

Thanehall leveraged its extensive experience in quality management, which spans from the BS 5750 standards to the ISO 9000 family, to assist a client in implementing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). This initiative was a natural extension of Thanehall’s own expertise in maintaining ISO 9001 certification, enabling it to provide effective guidance and practical solutions to ensure the client's compliance.

Challenges

The client required a robust and compliant QMS to meet the ISO 9001 standard. This involved defining clear processes, drafting associated procedures, and ensuring adherence through regular audits. The challenge was to create a system that was not only compliant but also practical and aligned with the client’s specific operational needs.

Thanehall worked closely with the client to define and map their key processes, ensuring that every operational area was adequately covered and compliant with ISO 9001 requirements. The team then drafted most of the associated procedures, tailoring them to the client’s workflows to ensure they were both effective and easy to implement.
